Sauteed Bananas with Rum Sauce
1/4 C Brown Sugar
1 T Heavy Cream
4 T Butter, cubed
3 T Honey
2 T Kahlua
1/4 C Dark Rum
Peal and slice bananas
Simmer brown sugar and cream in a hot sautee pan.*
Add butter and honey and stir gently to combine.
Add bananas and stir to coat.
Remove from heat and add alcohols.
Ignite sauce and gently shake pan until flame dies out.**
* Use extra caution when working with hot sugar.
** Never ignite alcohol over an open flame or heat. Always take pan off the heat.Print This Page
